As the Easter holidays approach we looked back on all the things we have learnt and participate in in first class. We have been doing great work in all of our subjects. There has been a huge focus on active learning tasks during stations and using the outdoors for our lessons as the weather has improved. During Seachtain na Gaeilge we showed off Droichead Átha Luain in front of the school at the Lá Glas and made bracelets with stór focail gaeilge orthu. On Thursday the 5th of March we dressed up for World Book Day. We got to work alongside Rang M.Fiona for some Buddy Reading together. On Monday 23rd of March we went on a trip into Kilkenny City. We got the bus and got to visit the Mayfair Library and the Watergate Theatre. The show we went to see was called 'The Witch Who Couldn't Sleep'. The children sang along and engaged with rhymes and songs. They had a great time.
