Active Week 2026
We had a fantastic Active Week 2026, packed with fun, movement, and plenty of memorable experiences. Although the weather was a little mixed at times, it certainly didn't stop us from making the most of the week!
Throughout the week, we enjoyed a variety of activities both in school and in the local community. We visited the community field for playground time, an exciting obstacle course, and a soccer match. On Tuesday, the children took part in our Junior Sports Day, showcasing great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sporting spirit.
Wednesday brought the first round of our Mini World Cup. The children were mixed into teams and competed against one another in a series of fun and friendly matches. We were also lucky enough to enjoy some sunshine, which made our picnic in the park even more special.
Although Thursday's weather kept us indoors, the fun continued in the community hall where everyone had a brilliant time playing glow football. On Friday, we wrapped up the week with our Sports Quiz. Congratulations to the winning team, the Dancing Donuts, who impressed everyone with their knowledge and teamwork!
Each evening, the children also enjoyed playing cards together. It was wonderful to see so many of them learning new games, developing their skills and spending quality time with friends.
Active Week 2026 was a huge success, filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to stay active. Well done to everyone who took part and helped make it such an enjoyable week!
