January/ February 2026 update.

16th Feb 2026

Junior and Senior Infants have had a wonderful time settling back into school since January, enjoying lots of fun learning activities, and sharing many happy moments together. They have shown great enthusiasm in the classroom, taken part in creative play, and grown in confidence every day, making it a joyful and positive start to the new term.
They have created an amazing selection of art through the 'Play' themes 'Materials and Clothes' and 'The Farm'. They have been exploring and creating great 'junk art' for their topics too. The children are enthusiastically exploring maths through playful, hands-on learning experiences. They are developing early mathematical understanding by using concrete materials, engaging in games, talking about their thinking, and discovering patterns, number, shape, and measure in everyday activities. Through exploration, discussion, and problem-solving, the children are building confidence and curiosity while developing strong foundations in mathematical thinking.
