It is the second day of our Active Week in school. Today it was the turn of our junior classes to enjoy their very own Sports Day. The excitement was clear from the moment the children arrived this morning.
Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a wide range of events including dizzy races, sack races, spud and spoon races, obstacle courses and throwing competitions. There were smiles, laughter and plenty of encouragement as everyone gave their best effort and showed off their fantastic skills. It was wonderful to see the children supporting one another, celebrating successes and simply enjoying being active together.
The weather held up and positive atmosphere added to the occasion, making it a memorable day for all involved. The yard and field were filled with happy faces as the children moved from activity to activity with great enthusiasm and energy.
In the evening, the fun continued with lively games of Musical Chairs and an exciting Tug of War competition.
A huge well done to all of our junior pupils for their enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. It was a wonderful celebration of being active, having fun and making happy memories together. We are already looking forward to the next activities as Active Week continues!
