Rang a 3 agus Rang a 4 have had a fantastic, busy start to the school year.
In September, we enjoyed a visit from Heritage in Schools. Sarah taught us all about Irish myths and legends and the children helped to act out some of the stories. At the end of September, we took part in a Kilkenny GAA blitz in Mullnivat. We had a great day out.
In October, we enjoyed lots of fun Maths Week activities, including a Maths Trail around the school and exploring data on our mini-whiteboards. At the end of October, we had lots of fun learning about Samhain. Dressing up and bobbing for úlla were some of the class favourites!
In November, we enjoyed an action-packed Science Week. We did lots of predicting, experimenting and observing results. We loved exploring Lego BriQ and making our own STEM robots. We had a great visit from Junior Einstein also.
December was a fun, festive month. Some of the highlights were being part of the Kings River Christmas party, the build-up to Christmas, including a special visit from Daidí na Nollag and our Christmas Concert.
