Athbhlian faoi mhaise daoibh go léir! We have been so busy in first class since we came back in the New Year - Check out the photos of our Dancing Penguins and Fireworks to celebrate 2026! In English we have been learning all about nouns, verbs and we have all been reading so many books. Our favourite read aloud book so far this year was Giddy the Goat. Integrating our subjects has been great the children got to learn about the Frog life cycle then they used their recycled materials to make their own frogs. As partof our Active Schools Challenge we completed four-weeks of Croke Park inspired Movement Breaks, the children kept track of it by putting on stickers every day when we had it complete. This week we started Irish Dancing in preparation for 'An Céilí Mór'. It has been a great start for the year for everyone.
