On Sunday, 18 May 2025, runners and walkers of all ages took part in the annual Stoneyford 5K & 10K Challenge, a much-loved community event set against the beautiful backdrop of the Stoneyford countryside.
Starting from the heart of the village, participants followed a scenic and rewarding route through local country roads. The event also featured a fun 1km Kids' Challenge, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Now a longstanding tradition, the challenge is held in support of Scoil Náisiúnta Chiaráin Naofa, with all proceeds going towards our school. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and enthusiasm shown by everyone who took part.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our local community, volunteers, organisers, sponsors, and supporters who worked so hard to make the day such a success. Your time, effort, and spirit made this event truly special.
