Turus Scoile Rang a hAon
A great day was had by Rang a 1, Naíonáin Mhóra agus Bheaga in Castlecomer Discovery Park on Tuesday 9th June. We managed to avoid any of the heavy showers during our activities. Firstly, Rang a 1 went on Nature Trail and Scavenger Hunt in the forest.
They were tasked with finding a variety of plants and animals of different textures. They worked together in pairs searching around.
Next, it was time to have lunch under the canopy of the Elf Village. We even had time to look around the Elves houses and explore the areas.
Finally, it was time for the Junior Woodland Obstacle Course and Bouncy Nets. We split up into 2 groups which meant we had loads of time and space on each of the courses. We had a great time and I think the smiles in the photos tell their own story!
